The $23 million renovation and expansion has doubled the size of the existing Emergency Department. The 36,300 square-foot ED opened August 28th, 2017.
The new ED includes 2 trauma treatment rooms, 34 treatment rooms and 4 triage rooms. There is also shell space that can be used to expand and add up to four more exam rooms and one additional trauma room if needed.
The new imaging area includes a computerized tomography scanner, x-ray room and ultrasound exam room. The second floor of the facility has a new all-weather heated helipad.
Physician Criteria: BC/BE Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM)
APP Criteria: Must have at least 1 year ED experience post-graduation to be considered. Critical skill
procedures a must. ATLS certification required.
