Dr. Chet Schrader oversees the operations of five EDs, two clinical decision units and an urgent care totaling over 300,000 patient visits. Currently, Schrader serves as a vice president and the vice chair of emergency services and medical staff at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he is also part of the core faculty for JPS’s Fort Worth Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Schrader received his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis and a subsequent fellowship in practice management and health policy at UT Southwestern in Dallas.
