Gregg Kirkland joined IES as chief financial officer after holding multiple executive positions in banking and law. Prior to IES, Kirkland served as chief executive officer of Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC, one of the nation’s leading mesothelioma law firms. During his tenure, the firm grew significantly, increasing the number of attorneys six-fold and expanding into three additional markets. Kirkland began his career as an accountant at Farmers and Merchants Bank before his promotion to chief financial officer. He also held chief financial officer positions with Bank One and Chase Bank affiliates, and was chief operating officer for the start-up Partners Bank, which was purchased by First Clover Leaf Bank. A graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Kirkland received the 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award from his alma mater.
