IES, Integrative Emergency Services, is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our established group at Johnson Memorial Health.

Medical Director Role
- Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the Hospitalist service
- Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
- Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers
- Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high quality care
- Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
- Assure departmental compliance with JCAHO standards
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
Johnson Memorial Health
Required Qualifications
- Board certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician
- Medical director experience preferred but not required
- Indiana medical license or eligible to obtain
- DEA
- ACLS

- Beds: 40
- ICU Beds: 6
- Encounters per Day: 15-20
- Admissions per Day: 4-6
- Shifts Times: 7a – 7p, 7p – 7a
- Day Coverage: 1 physician & 1 APP
- Night Coverage: 1 APP with physician on-call
- Rotation Schedule: 7-on/7-off; flexible may be able to accommodate other schedules
- Procedures: Preferred but not required: intubations, central lines
- Respond to Codes: Yes
