We are currently recruiting for expansion, growth and new emergency medicine residency programs in the DFW metropolitan area. Join a diverse group of academic emergency medicine physicians committed to providing the highest quality education available. 

Ideal candidates will have an established track record in education, teaching, research, recent scholarly activity, and outstanding clinical service. Candidate must be board certified in emergency medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) and completion of an accredited residency program in emergency medicine. Two years of clinical experience post-residency preferred with clinical and scholarly activity in accordance to ACGME requirements for programs in emergency medicine.   

JPS EM Residency Program 

JPS is home to a fully accredited, academically oriented, three-year emergency medicine residency program with 13 residents per class. JPS is recognized as the only level 1 trauma center for Tarrant County, as well as a comprehensive level 1 stroke center. Seeing 130,000 patient visits per year, the county hospital population provides incredible learning opportunities in both volume and pathology. Established in 2011, the program has placed graduates across the country into varied practice environments, leadership positions, and fellowship. The department also supports fellowships in ultrasound, administration, and education.    

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Emergency Medicine 
  • ATLS 
  • Clean Background
