The Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor Scott & White – All Saints Medical Center (BAS) in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Director of Ultrasound to join their team. The Medical Center will soon be institutionally accredited by the ACGME to host its first Emergency Medicine residency with an anticipated start date of July 2022.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates for this position need to be ABEM board-certified or board-eligible with fellowship training in “emergency” (Point-of-Care) ultrasound, or comparable experience through several years as an ultrasound director for an emergency department. 
  • The ideal candidate should have a creative and flexible skill set, with specific experience in educational ultrasound course planning, image workflow development, physician credentialing, billing and revenue, and quality assurance. 

Responsibilites

  • Oversight and direction of resident education and quality assurance. 
  • Education and oversight of attending emergency physicians. 
  • Oversight and direction of research in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS)
