IES is excited to announce our first system-wide ultrasound conference. The overall goal for this two-day training is to have all physicians in the system privileged in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) by the end of the year.

This two-day, 16-hour course will be CME accredited and cover core topics such as E-FAST, Cardiac and IVC, Abdominal Aorta, Gallbladder, Renal, and Ocular imaging. There will be enough skills stations to reach the minimum goal of 150 scans, as well as enough didactic content to immediately apply for POCUS privileges at your institution upon completion.

There will be a small fee for this course of $199.00 which can be deducted from your BERA account and should be much cheaper than similar training that would be available to you elsewhere.

While we are not mandating that providers use ultrasound in their clinical practice or change the way you are delivering patient care, once everyone in the system is privileged, we anticipate proceeding with further education and evidence-based quality initiatives.

Please RSVP soon because this conference will only accommodate 50 seats. Once those seats are full, we will begin a waiting list.

Additional details regarding the conference will be available soon!
