North Texas Critical Care is a dedicated critical care intensivist team delivering quality care within the Cardiovascular and Surgical ICUs at Baylor University Medical Center and expanding services to Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. We provide post-operative care within high acuity units – treating patients recovering from heart/lung transplants, trauma, and cardiovascular surgeries.
Located near downtown Fort Worth, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center is a 525-bed medical facility that offers the convenience and personal attention of a local hospital with the respected medical staff and advanced medical technology you’d expect from a regional health care system.
Surgical ICU/CVICU
- Physician Coverage:
- 12 hrs nightly on-call
- 12 hrs daily
- APP Coverage:
- 24 hrs onsite NP, RN, & Support Staff
- 12 hr shifts
- Documentation: EPIC

Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to work 12-hour day, night shifts, and 13 shifts per month
- Ability to work autonomously within the Critical Care team
- Active Texas Medical License in good standing
- Experience in the management of critically ill surgical patients
- Experience with Cardiothoracic surgical patients is highly preferred
- Active ACLS and BLS
