Dr. Ron Jensen is responsible for Baylor Scott & White Health’s Waxahachie, Irving and Grapevine Medical Center campuses. A decorated former Marine, Jensen grew up in southern Oklahoma and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He then attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center for his doctoral degree in osteopathic medicine before heading to Columbus, Ohio, to complete a residency in emergency medicine. Additionally, Jensen holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He first came to work for the Baylor system in 2005 at Garland and subsequently served as medical director at Navarro Regional in Corsicana, Wadley Regional in Texarkana, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth. He is currently the chief of emergency medicine at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
